Líneas de Investigación:

• Resistencia a sequía: Identificación de características agronómicas, morfológicas y fisiológicas para resistencia a deficientes Hídricas. 
• Resistencia a sequía en cultivos alternativos (quinua, kochia, alfalfa, etc.). 
• Resistencia a sequía: Variación en vigor inicial, crecimiento, desarrollo fásico, evapotranspiración, eficiencia en el uso del Agua, discriminación de Carbono, rendimiento de grano, biomasa e índice de cosecha en cereales y leguminosas. 
• Resistencia a sequía: Mejoramiento genética en cultivos (gramíneas y leguminosas) bajo condiciones de cambio global de clima. 
• Resistencia a sequía: Variación genética en resistencia a estrés hídrico y enfermedades del frijol (Phaseolus. spp.) 
• Resistencia a sequía: Variación en crecimiento del grano y removilización de reservas del tallo al grano en cereales bajo condiciones de estrés hídrico.
